The City of Pewaukee Police Department provides the following services and programs to City residents and local businesses.

Vacation House Checks
Going on vacation?  Whether it's for a weekend or an entire month, call our main office number and ask about our free house check services. Our patrol officers will check up on your home while you are gone.  If you don't want to make the phone call, you can fill out our online house check request.

Business Checks
These are similar to our house checks but these are for you business instead.  If you feel the need for extra police presence at your business location, call the police department or fill out the online house check form and explain the circumstances.

Police Department Tours

If you would like a tour of our police department, please call the main office in advance to schedule one.  Our department is currently undergoing a major renovation and is changing daily.

Fingerprinting

If you would like to have your child fingerprinted or need fingerprints for job applications, licenses, etc. please call the main office to schedule an appointment.  The police department will only schedule this service on Monday evenings between 3pm & 6:30pm.

Child Safety Seat Inspections

Several classes are offered throughout the year.  Please call the main office to find out when our classes will be offered.

Community Service Programs

Our community service officer, Bob Kraemer, has created several great programs for kids and their parents!  Cops & Bobbers, Gutter Busters, Danger Stranger and our Motorcycle Patrol unit.  These are just a few examples of what he has done.  Contact Officer Kraemer for more information regarding any of these programs.

Gunlock Giveaway

The police department is currently giving away free gunlocks to City residents.  Stop by the police department to receive up to two locks!
