Sergeant Information
Sgt
Brian Ripplinger started his career with the Pewaukee Police
Department in 1992. In 1999, Sgt Ripplinger was promoted to
the rank of Sergeant and has worked as a supervisor on all
three shifts for the police department. In 2003, Sgt
Ripplinger became the day shift patrol supervisor where he
oversees patrol operations on that shift.
During
his tenure with the department, Sgt. Ripplinger has been
active with the Pewaukee Lake Patrol, the Tactical Unit, the
Motorcycle Patrol Unit and the police department’s Accident
Reconstruction team.
Sgt
Ripplinger has attended numerous schools which include
Northwestern University, Fox
Valley Technical
College and State
Patrol Academy for additional
law enforcement training.
Sgt
Ripplinger currently holds certified instructor ratings in
Firearms, Rifle, Emergency Vehicle Operations, Tactical
Response, Vehicle Contacts, Laser Detection and DNR/ATV operation.
Sgt.
Ripplinger has received training in Truck Enforcement,
Evidence Collection, Professional Supervisory Development,
and Crime Scene Management.
