Officer Information
Captain Meister recently joined the
City of Pewaukee Police Department in April of 2006, after
12 years of service with the City of Milwaukee Police
Department. He started his law enforcement career in
Milwaukee and progressed through the ranks; achieving the
rank of lieutenant in 2005. As second in command under
Chief Bach, he looks forward to leading this organization of
professional law enforcement officers into the future. By
working together as a team, he believes that the City of
Pewaukee Police Department can provide quality police
services to this community in a highly professional manner.
Captain Meister has a diverse
background in law enforcement. He has experience in patrol,
administration, narcotics and major investigations. He is
certified as a field training officer and a C.P.R.
instructor. Furthermore, he has had extensive training in
the areas of - leadership, management, ethics, cultural
diversity and professional communications. He is currently
working on completing his Bachelor’s Degree in Public
Administration.
Captain Meister is married and has a
daughter. He and his family look forward to moving to
Waukesha County. In his spare time he enjoys hunting,
fishing, camping and spending time with his family.
Captain Meister works the dayshift,
