Officer Information
Captain Meister joined the City of
Pewaukee Police Department in April of 2006. Prior to that,
he served with the City of Milwaukee Police Department for
13 years. Currently he supervises the department’s Detective
Bureau and Administrative Sergeant. The department’s
lieutenant of police patrol operations also reports to the
captain.
Last fall, Captain Meister graduated
from Northwestern University’s School of Police Staff and
Command. This 10 week course involved upper level college
classes to prepare administrators for some of the more
complex issues involved in managing a 21st
century police department.
Captain Meister is a member of the
International Association of Chiefs of Police, the Wisconsin
Chiefs of Police Association and the Waukesha County Police
Chiefs Association. He is also a member of the F.B.I.’s Law
Enforcement Executive Development Association and serves on
the Waukesha County Communications Police Protocol
Committee.
Captain Meister works the day shift,
Monday through Friday.
