Officer Information

 

Detective Bernotas Graduated from Carroll College in 1996. He attained two bachelor degrees in Criminal Justice as well as Managerial Communications.

 

Detective Bernotas has served the city since March of 1997 and was promoted to the rank of Detective in 2005.

 

Detective Bernotas also serves on the training staff and is a certified instructor in Defense and Arrest Tactics, Professional Communications and Tactical Response. He is a certified Taser instructor, Active Shooter Response Instructor and Scenario Based Training Supervisor. He is also a former tactical operator.

 

Detective Bernotas works the day watch 7am-3pm
