What are the parking restrictions in the City of Pewaukee?
-Summer parking rules: April 2nd through October 31st Winter parking regulations end on April 1st, but you could still get a parking citation if you park unlawfully on a city street. Not sure? Call the police department at (262) 691-0921 with your location to find out if it is legal to park there and also look for any signs posted along the road.
-Winter parking rules: November 1st through April 1st Parking is prohibited on ALL city streets between November 1st & April 1st. If you need to park on a city street, please call the police department at (262) 691-0921 to get information on how to obtain on-street parking permission. Violators can be cited for each offense!

Where can motorized scooters be operated?
These popular new scooters can only be operated on private property. Wisconsin law {Statute 340.01(22)} considers these scooters "motor vehicles". Any accident on a scooter which results in injury, death, property damage greater than $1,000 or $200 to government property requires a police investigation and motor vehicle accident report. Motorized scooters cannot be registered and so cannot legally be ridden on public roads. Motorized scooter riders can be ticketed for any traffic violation if operated on public roadways!
