Chief's Message

Hello,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to the City of Pewaukee Police Department's website.  This website was developed through a cooperative effort by several of our police department employees, and we are quite proud of it.

The purpose and goal of this website is to provide you with useful and current information regarding the City of Pewaukee Police Department.  I am very honored to be the chief of this fine organization.  I firmly believe that we employ some of the finest men and women working in the field of law enforcement in the state of Wisconsin.

On this site, you will find a variety of information about the City of Pewaukee Police Department including data on the department staff, vehicles, newly renovated building and the many community oriented programs we have to offer.

As the chief of the City of Pewaukee Police Department, I have made a concerted effort to provide an even balance of law enforcement and community based policing.  We are very proud of the community service programs that we have developed over the past couple of years, including our "Business Security" program, which received the state attorney general's Program of the Year Award.  We also offer programs that focus on youth involvement; those include the popular "Cops-n-Bobbers" fishing program, "Gutter Busters" bowling program, "Badges & Bullseyes" archery program and the "Stranger Danger" awareness program.  I encourage you to contact our department for further information on participating in these programs.

The City of Pewaukee Police Department, in cooperation with the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP), has established the Oath of Honor program.  All department personnel have voluntarily taken the following oath:

“On my honor, I will never betray my badge, my integrity, my character or the public trust. I will always have the courage to hold myself and others accountable for our actions. I will always uphold the constitution, my community, and the agency I serve.”

The City of Pewaukee Police Department is extremely proud to be an “Oath of Honor” department.

This is your police department.  Maintaining a high quality of life for the people of this community is our mission.  We welcome any feedback you might have after visiting our website.  Please direct any questions or comments to my attention at bach@pewaukee.wi.us or call my office directly at (262) 691-5722.

Enjoy your visit and remember to check back often for updated information.

Sincerely,

Gary D. Bach

Chief of Police
